Academic Databases
An academic database refers to a repository of extensive academic data, research outcomes, and related literature. These databases typically encompass scholarly journals, conference papers, theses, professional reports, books, etc., covering a wide array of disciplinary studies. Academic databases offer a convenient and efficient means for researchers, students, and other professionals to search for and access the latest and most relevant information pertaining to their research domains.
How to Search Academic Databases ?
You can follow these steps:

Identify your needs: Understand the topic or research area you want to query.

Choose appropriate databases: Based on your topic or field, select one or more relevant academic databases. Some databases are single-discipline, while others are interdisciplinary. Commonly used academic databases include EBOCOhost, ProQuest, JSTOR, etc.

Access the database website: Click on the database name to access the academic databases purchased by the institution.

Conduct keyword searches: In the database's search bar, enter keywords, phrases, or topics relevant to your research.

Review abstracts for filtering: In the search results, use abstracts to select literature for reading.

Download full texts: Within the campus domain, you can download electronic full texts for further reading.
